Das Geb\u00e4ude besitzt ein helles, einschiffiges Langhaus, das durch elegante Stuckverzierungen, Seitenalt\u00e4re und einen pr\u00e4chtigen Hochaltar aus polychromem Marmor geschm\u00fcckt wird.<\/p>\n<p>Zu den bedeutendsten Kunstwerken z\u00e4hlt das Gem\u00e4lde des <strong>Heiligen Nikolaus von Bari<\/strong>, das dem neapolitanischen Maler <strong>Andrea Vaccaro<\/strong> zugeschrieben wird, sowie weitere wertvolle Beispiele sakraler Kunst aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Im Au\u00dfenbereich zeugen der charakteristische Portikus und der Glockenturm von der langen Geschichte der Kirche, die bis heute ein bedeutender religi\u00f6ser und kultureller Bezugspunkt f\u00fcr die Gemeinschaft von Agerola ist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kuriosit\u00e4t<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Das in der Apsis aufbewahrte Gem\u00e4lde des <strong>Heiligen Nikolaus von Bari<\/strong> wird dem ber\u00fchmten neapolitanischen Maler <strong>Andrea Vaccaro<\/strong> zugeschrieben, der als einer der bedeutendsten Meister der italienischen Malerei des 17. stesso nome era simbolico della sua localizzazione. Ponte era la borgata che, posta la centro di Agerola fungeva da snodo e collegamento per le quattro frazioni: Pianillo, Campora, Bomerano, San Lazzaro.
