Sie wurden \u00fcber Jahrtausende durch die Einwirkung des Wassers auf den Kalkstein der <strong>Monti Lattari<\/strong> geformt und \u00f6ffnen sich entlang einer beeindruckenden Felswand, die das Tal \u00fcberragt und eine au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich sch\u00f6ne Landschaft bietet.<\/p>\n<p>Im Laufe der Geschichte dienten diese nat\u00fcrlichen H\u00f6hlen vermutlich als vor\u00fcbergehende Zufluchtsorte f\u00fcr Hirten und Reisende. Heute sind sie ein wertvolles Zeugnis der urspr\u00fcnglichen Natur des Gebiets und ein beliebtes Ziel f\u00fcr Wanderer, die die m\u00e4chtigen Kalksteinw\u00e4nde aus n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he bewundern und einzigartige Ausblicke auf die <strong>Amalfik\u00fcste<\/strong> und die <strong>Monti Lattari<\/strong> genie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kuriosit\u00e4t<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der lokalen Tradition zufolge sind die Grotten der <strong>Heiligen Barbara<\/strong> gewidmet, der Schutzpatronin aller, die den Gefahren von Bergen und Felsen ausgesetzt sind. Dank ihrer besonderen geologischen Beschaffenheit z\u00e4hlen sie zu den eindrucksvollsten Beispielen von <strong>Karstformationen<\/strong> im Gebiet von Agerola.<\/p>\n<p>cia.
