Elle s&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e8ve sur l&#8217;emplacement d&#8217;une ancienne \u00e9glise d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 Saint Lazare et conserve un important patrimoine historique, artistique et religieux.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;int\u00e9rieur, divis\u00e9 en trois nefs, est enrichi par d&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9gants autels, la remarquable statue du <strong>Christ D\u00e9pos\u00e9<\/strong>, des \u0153uvres provenant de l&#8217;ancien <strong>Couvent des Cospiti<\/strong>, ainsi que par la pr\u00e9cieuse <strong>croix en marbre biface du XIVe si\u00e8cle<\/strong>, consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme l&#8217;un des tr\u00e9sors artistiques les plus pr\u00e9cieux de l&#8217;\u00e9glise.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son importance historique et \u00e0 son activit\u00e9 religieuse toujours vivante, l&#8217;\u00e9glise demeure aujourd&#8217;hui un point de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence essentiel pour la vie spirituelle, culturelle et sociale de la communaut\u00e9 d&#8217;Agerola.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curiosit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;\u00e9glise conserve une rare <strong>croix en marbre biface du XIVe si\u00e8cle<\/strong>, provenant de l&#8217;ancien <strong>Couvent des Cospiti<\/strong>, l&#8217;une des \u0153uvres les plus pr\u00e9cieuses du patrimoine artistique local. Pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, une petite chapelle votive avec une croix en bois se trouvait \u00e9galement au pied du clocher. Cette croix est aujourd&#8217;hui plac\u00e9e sur le ma\u00eetre-autel, t\u00e9moignant de la longue histoire et des nombreuses transformations qu&#8217;a connues cet \u00e9difice sacr\u00e9 au fil
