Three hectares of parkland sit like a terrace overlooking the coast, offering a panoramic view of the whole of Agerola, against which Monte Tre Pizzi stands out imposingly. The viewpoint is situated on the site where General Avitabile\u2019s palace once stood; between 1937 and 1939, the \u2018Principe di Napoli\u2019 Colonia Montana was built on its ruins, serving as a summer camp for young people under the Fascist regime, in the shadow of two imposing works of art by the famous Futurist sculptor Eros Pellini, known as \u2018Regia Aeronautica Militare\u2019 and \u2018Corpo degli Alpini\u2019. We recommend the spot behind the former infirmary building, from which you can see the Furore Fjord, a narrow stretch of water at the mouth of a steep-sided valley, carved out by the ceaseless work of the Schiato stream, which flows from Agerola down the mountainside until it plunges into the sea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interesting fact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Behind the former infirmary lies one of the park\u2019s most spectacular vantage points, from which you can admire the Furore Fjord, carved out over the centuries by the Schiato torrent before it reaches the sea.<\/p>\n<\/div><div
