Description
Punta Miramare, also known as Punta di San Lazzaro, is one of Agerola’s most picturesque viewpoints. From this vantage point, the view takes in an extraordinary panorama stretching from Capo di Conca to the Cilento Coast, all the way to the headland of Punta Campanella. The site is also renowned for its cultural significance: it was here that the poet Salvatore Di Giacomo found the inspiration for his famous poem *Luna d’Agerola*.
Interesting fact
On particularly clear days, from Punta Miramare it is possible to make out much of the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrento Peninsula and the outline of the Cilento Coast all at once, making it one of the most spectacular vantage points.
