Description

Small yet charming, the Chapel of Saint Christopher is a valuable testimony to Agerola’s religious tradition. Located near Palazzo Lauritano, it most likely dates from between the 17th and 18th centuries.

The chapel is dedicated to Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travellers and protector of wayfarers, a figure especially revered in a region crossed for centuries by the ancient paths linking the Amalfi Coast with the inland areas.
