Lauritano Castle stands in an extraordinary panoramic position overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno. Today, only a few traces remain, but the site still retains all the charm of its ancient defensive function.

Accessible via a pleasant path surrounded by nature, the castle offers one of the most evocative vantage points in the Agerola area. From here, you can admire a panorama stretching from the sea to the mountains, offering spectacular views in every season of the year.

According to local tradition, Lauritano Castle formed part of the watch and defence system that controlled the access routes to the Amalfi Coast, making the most of its strategic position between the sea and the mountains.
